On May 2, 2012, I opened the doors to Sybarisa:  a new company and a whole new way of life for me -- and yet the foundations of Sybarisa could not be more familiar.  From the things I love, the things I have always done:  traveling, teaching, and sharing with my family and my friends, Sybarisa was born.

My launch party offered a small taste of the things I bring with me when I travel and the things I carry home: fragrances, food, wine, photos, music, and art from the most beautiful places in the world.

Sybaris was an ancient Greek city in Southern Italy that was noted for its wealth and luxury.  To this name, I added my own, Isa, the name used by my family and closest friends.

Sybarisa carries that age-old spirit of luxury throughout the world. I bring to each trip that I plan a love of travel and of beauty and a highly-personal knowledge of the region, developed over a lifetime of exploration. It is personal; it is local; it is unforgettable.
